SORC, or the Student Organization Resource Council, is an ASUN sponsored event that will be held on November 6, 2013 in the Centennial Room at the Nebraska City Campus Union at 6:30 pm. The goal of this event is to help Registered Student Organizations (RSO’s), new or established, with the difficulties and challenges that face them everyday. SORC will cover topics such as marketing and advertising, leadership skills, member retention, recruiting new members, and effective meeting procedure, among others. This fall’s SORC event will have an emphasis on networking with other RSO’s in addition to ASUN; therefore, it is important for RSO’s to attend in order to make for a successful event and increase communication between RSO’s and ASUN.
