Fall Geography seminars set

The Geography General Seminar series has lined up eight dates for the fall 2012 semester.

The first seminar is scheduled for Friday, Sept. 7 when SNR Geography lecturer Juan Paulo Ramirez will talk about his experiences as a geographer in the United States. Annabel Major, coordinator of the Nebraska Naturalist Program at UNL, will wrap the series on Nov. 30.

All seminars are open to the public, and most will be held on Fridays in room 228 of Hardin Hall on East Campus at 2 p.m. Seminars on Sept. 21 and Oct. 5 will be held in room 901, while the Nov. 14 lecture is part of the SNR Seminar Series and will be held on a Wednesday in the Hardin Hall auditorium at 3:30 p.m.
