SNR’s Safety & Facilities Committee is arranging First Aid/CPR/AED training for people who will be conducting summer research in the field. It will be held in Hardin Hall on Friday, May 10, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. First Aid will be in the morning and CPR/AED in the afternoon. The training can accommodate up to 20 people, and SNR will pay the cost.
Although priority will be given to those who will be involved with summer field work, the committee encourages others to sign up if needed. Supervisors – please work with your staff to determine who needs this training to meet all safety responsibilities.
To sign up for the class, contact Karen Jensen (kjensen4@unl.edu, 2-7569) by Tuesday, May 7 at 3:00 pm. If you are available for only a portion of the day, let me know when you register what you wish to take. Preference will be given to those who can attend the full day.
