To launch UNL's celebration of National Distance Learning Week, Pennsylvania State University distance educator Janet Duck will present a lecture at 11:30 a.m., Nov. 16 in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center. She will share the pitfalls and successes she has encountered as a distance educator.
Duck has taught in the iMBA program at Penn State for seven years. She teaches fully online, in addition to hybrid and traditional courses that incorporate both synchronous and asynchronous learning environments. As the team adviser within the iMBA program, Duck manages 48 virtual student teams.
