UNL Libraries is now accepting submissions for summer course reserves lists.
The reserves list program allows faculty and graduate assistants the opportunity to put library books, journal articles, and other materials — including personal copies of books — on reserve and make them available to students.
Reserve requests are processed in the order they are received.
Books can be physically put on reserve and made available in city and east campus libraries. You can request books from the UNL libraries to be placed on reserve by using the new electronic reserve form located at https://library.unl.edu/screens/reserve.html.
Materials can also be made available to students, 24 hours a day/7 days a week, via electronic reserve at http://0-cors0812.unl.edu.library.unl.edu/ereserves/. The types of materials that can be made available electronically include: exams, lecture notes, student papers (which must be approved by the student), government publications, one article from a journal issue, and one chapter from a book.
For more information about electronic reserves, go to http://libraries.unl.edu/reserve/.
A reserve list may take one to four business days for processing. In the event that the materials you request are unavailable, your request will also experience some delay.
To ensure requests are processed in a timely manner: supply complete citations of materials; and, when you request your personal copy of a book or other personal material be placed on reserve, remember to include it with the request.
Materials placed on electronic reserve are accessible only to those affiliated with UNL. Photocopied materials consisting of two or more articles from a journal issue, or more than one chapter from a single book must have copyright compliance, or meet the criteria under the fair use guidelines for classroom copying in not-for-profit educational institutions.
