A performance of the Joffrey Ballet is 7:30 p.m. March 2 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts. Tickets start at $29 for adults and $14.50 for youth.

The Joffrey Ballet is America's premier ballet company. The performance will feature three major works: Stravinsky and Nijinsky's "Rite of Spring;" Christopher Wheeldon's "After the Rain;" and the Nebraska premier of Stanton Welsh's newest work, "Son of Chamber Symphony."

UNL's Rhonda Garelick will lead a pre-show talk at 7 p.m. in the Lied's Steinhart Room. Garelick is director of the Interdisciplinary Art Symposium and a professor in English and art and art history. The talk is free to ticket holders.
