The School of Music is offering "Bach's Lunch," a unique brown-bag lunch experience. The first Bach's Lunch is 11:35 a.m., Sept. 24 in 130 Westbrook Music Building.

Bach's Lunch programs will feature student musicians playing compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach. The program is modeled after similar projects at the University of Texas in Austin and the University of Missouri in Kansas City.

Today's Bach's Lunch offering will include "Back Cantata 106 (God's Way is the Best Way)" and "Cantata 47 (He Who Exalts Himself Shall be Humbled)." Both will be performed in original German.

The Bach's Lunch programs will be offered many of the final Fridays of the month during the academic year. Other offerings will be announced.

Admission is free. Participants are asked to bring their own lunch.
