Runza Night for Lancaster County 4-H, April 16

Support 4-H by eating at Runza on 33rd and Pioneers on Tuesday, April 16 from 5–8 p.m. Simply mention 4-H and Lancaster County 4-H Council will receive 10 percent of the proceeds. 4-H Council helps support 4-H programs, activities and scholarships.

4-H Horsemanship Level Testings, April 23

A second testing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, 5:30 p.m. at the Lancaster Event Center in the Pavilion 2 arena. Registration deadline for the April 23 testing is April 16.

Discover 4-H Camps — Early Bird Discount Before April 15!

4-H SUMMER CAMP brochures are now available online at http://4h.unl.edu/camp-centers and at the Extension office. Camps are open to all youth ages 6–18 (need not be in 4-H). Dog Training Day Camp at UNL

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Animal Science Department is introducing a new dog camp, Fur Your Information! Through three sessions (June 3, 10, & 17), this camp will offer 4-H kids ages 8-18 the opportunity to learn and practice showmanship, rally obedience, and agility with their dog.

4-H Foundation Announces Flood Relief Fund to Support Nebraska Families

The Nebraska 4-H Foundation has created a Flood Relief Fund to support children, youth and families impacted by the recent storms and floods. Donations for relief efforts may be given to support local recovery efforts or given through the Nebraska 4-H Foundation via PayPal or debit/credit card.

Raise Your Hand for 4-H Youth in Nebraska

Nebraska has taken an early lead in the National 4-H Raise Your Hand campaign. Nebraska is in first place with 1,872 hands raised, or 27.49% participation rate! State 4-H will use any winnings to support 4-H flood recovery efforts. Continue reading…
