Now is the time to take a few minutes to recognize some of your most outstanding volunteers. National 4-H Council is once again sponsoring Salute to Excellence Awards for:
1. The Volunteer of the Year Award (VOY) is for currently serving 4-H volunteers who have served as 4-H volunteers less than 10 years at the local, county, district or state level.
2. The Outstanding Lifetime Volunteer Award (OLV) is for current or former 4-H volunteers who have served 10 or more years at the local, county, district or state level.
The criteria and an application template can be found at https://go.unl.edu/7ib0. Please review the template because the information requested has changed this year.
Completed applications are due to me before December 18, 2019. State winners will be announced by January 17, 2020. Regional winners will be announced by February 29 and National winners will be announced in April.
A complete application will include:
· High quality, 600 dpi headshot of the nominee
· Three letters of recommendation
· Resume
