K-12 Nebraska Science Standards Training

The STEM Careers team is excited to announce an interactive training focused on the K-12 Nebraska Science Standards hosted by Sara Cooper, science educational specialist. During the training participants will gain an introduction to the Science Standards with an emphasis on lesson design and alignment for new and existing STEM lessons. This training is perfect for all educators who teach science concepts in classroom settings.

The training will be February 24 from 9am to 4:30pm at The Leadership Center in Aurora and will cost $40 per person.

To register for the training, please complete the Google Form. Payment may be made via CO# or Check (brought the day of the training). Participants must contact The Leadership Center directly if they would like to reserve a hotel room and they will have to pay for their own room (about $80). Last day to register is February 16.

Following the training, the STEM Careers issue team will be having a team meeting to debrief and plan for 2020 on February 25 from 8am to 2pm.
