National Youth Summit on Photography

Photography is a form of art that is more accessible than ever. With most people in the US carrying smartphones, they have a powerful tool in their pockets to capture vivid and captivating imagery. The National Youth Summit on photography brings young people together to engage in a timeless art form in a setting filled with historic architecture, beautiful landscapes, and more.

The National Youth Photography Summit will take place on February 26 – March 1, 2020. Summit fees include accommodations at the National 4‑H Conference Center, meals, educational programming, and tours including a guided nighttime tour of the monuments and memorials in Washington, D.C. Buffet-style meals are served in the Clover Dining Room at National 4‑H Conference Center. Join delegates from across the country explore emerging photography careers and related skills necessary for entry into tomorrow’s workforce. Sample mini-tracks to include sports photography, digital imaging and aerial-surveillance, photographic arts, nature photography, aerial mapping, and photo analysis, medical imaging, photo-editing software and techniques, photojournalism, portrait photography, and photographing champion livestock.
