The Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience (NCMN) and the Nebraska Nanoscale Facility (NNF) at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln will hold its annual NanoDays event REMOTELY this year! NanoDays is a nationwide festival of educational programs about the newest, most transformative realm of scientific discovery and invention that is happening at the nanoscale. To celebrate this exciting science, we invite teachers, students, and their families to be a part of this educational festival. Here's what they can expect when visiting the NanoDays website at https://ncmn.unl.edu/nanodays during the week of October 5-9, 2020.
- View 6 short "Nanotechnology: Super Small Science" videos
- Answer one question about each video and submit
- Receive a completion certificate automatically sent to your email after questions are completed between Oct 5-9.
- Chat with UNL staff if you have more questions about nanoscience
- Free nanoscience education kits will be awarded to the elementary and middle schools with the most participants!

The videos were done by NBC and the National Science Foundation (NSF) and might be an excellent resource for classrooms and after school programs. I’ve also attached an advertisement to use if you are interested and an example of the Certificate students would receive for their participation.
