4-H Classroom Connection

This fall, Nebraska 4-H continues to offer a variety of live virtually-guided opportunities, on-demand and self-paced experiences, and activity guides. With young people now attending school (either in-person, remotely, or in a home school setting), and with varying health restrictions in place across the state, virtual learning continues to be important in our state and beyond.

A new resource, the Classroom Connection, provides educators a listing of statewide experiences that may be appropriate for use in their work with students. These resources are perfect for school classrooms, afterschool programs, clubs, home school co-ops, and families looking for supplemental learning experiences.

The message below may be used in promoting these experiences to educators in your communities; if you have any questions, feel free to contact Tracy Pracheil (tpracheil2@unl.edu), Andy Larson (alarson20@unl.edu), or Saundra Frerichs (sfrerichs3@unl.edu).

Whether your classroom is in a school, community center, park, or living room, we know learning needs to be able to happen anywhere. And Nebraska 4-H is ready to help deliver high-quality learning experiences in your classroom wherever it might be.

We’re proud to launch the new 4-H Classroom Connection, a collection of live enrichment experience designed for groups of youth in school classrooms, home school co-ops, afterschool programs, and families looking for supplemental learning experiences. All the programs are supported by a statewide network of positive youth development experts, bringing the education of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln straight to your classroom.
