Recruiting STEMentors eLearning Program Sites (Deadline Extended!)

The STEMentors eLearning Program is now recruiting afterschool sites across the state to participate in the upcoming Fall 2021 Semester sessions!

These STEM-related experiences are led via video conferencing by off-site eMentors (UNL undergraduate student), while a frontline instructor at the afterschool site helps lead the activities. A variety of courses are offered for students in grades Kindergarten – 8th grade and include Digital Storytelling with Scratch Jr., Robotics, Engineering with Nanoscience, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning!

2) Consider Hosting a STEMentors eLearning Program for 4-H Youth in Your County
The STEMentors eLearning Program does not need to only be joined from an afterschool program in a school setting – it can also be hosted at an Extension Office, too! Local donors (businesses, foundations, etc.) may also be interested in covering the cost of the program, as it brings STEM education to the youth in the community.
