The 4-H Tackle Box of Lessons, found at https://go.unl.edu/4htacklebox, has been designed for internal lesson plan and resource sharing amongst county and state staff within the Nebraska 4-H Youth Development program. Lesson plans and resources shared within this space may not be peer reviewed and are posted immediately.
The 4-H Tackle Box of Lessons Tutorial (https://uofnelincoln.sharepoint.com/:b:/s/UNL-IANR4-HYouthDevelopment/EbSFX8AXn3pMvgUwAg6byc4BTrJcw-mJyYlujJlxDluu_w) provides an overview of how to:
- add an entry to the 4-H Tackle Box.
- receive email or text notifications.
- add comments and rate lessons on a scale.
- view the 4-H Tackle Box on a mobile device.
When adding entries into the 4-H Tackle Box, we encourage you to reference the 5 Delivery Models descriptions (https://uofnelincoln.sharepoint.com/:b:/s/UNL-IANR4-HYouthDevelopment/EctbooJmnbxCr3fmGzFzjIsBnCPlUWl2uzcqc75HBmUPCw) that can be used to match the lesson or resource to the needs of the clientele in your area:
- Model 1 – Face to face
- Model 2 – Teacher training with provided resources
- Model 3 – Hybrid of educator led lessons and teacher-led/kit-based lessons
- Model 4 – Virtual Educator-led sessions with kit on site
- Model 5 - Hybrid of Virtual and in-person
Because the entries in the Nebraska 4-H Tackle Box are crowdsourced directly from YOU, our outstanding team of 4-H professionals from across the state, the success of this resource is also dependent on what is shared and contributed!
