Here is a quick update on 4-H Online. As of this morning there is a new feature in 4-H Online for all managers to access.

Under the Members and Participation Tabs, you will find the new Consents Dropdown Menu. This dropdown menu functions the same as the Health Forms Dropdown Menu does. When you click on the dropdown menu, you will be presented with four options:

• Excel
• PDF
• Zip
• Audit

Excel, as it’s name implies, will pull all the data into a single excel sheet.
PDF will pull one long pdf file of all members selected.
Zip will download individual pdf files for each member selected if you wish to keep each separate.
Audit will allow you to select a specific date and will only pull consent signatures up to that date. For example, if you wish to know if someone had signed a consent form prior to March 1st.

As with Health Forms, Consents also requires a password to access this data. Just like with Health Forms, that password is provided to you once you select an option. The Password Protect File popup window will appear with the hidden password. If you accidentally skip past this option without saving the password, you can find the same password is individualized per county and can be found on the Home tab in the top right of the page under Download Password. This password does not change for your county.

All options will include the Consent itself incase any of your families wish to look at the wording of the consent form again, you can show them their youth’s consent download. These downloads can also still be done individually by going to a member’s member profile and downloading the file under their consents tab. Do note: you will not be prompted with the password if you go about it this way, but it is still the same password as can be found on the Manager’s Home tab.

If you prefer to use Custom Reports, but also want to include the actual Consent Form with the member’s name, there is a new report column named “Consent Text” that will pull the consent text just like the other options above. If you wish to pull only specific consent forms, using the Custom Reports route will be the only way to filter out all other consents.
