A Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Leader Update Session is scheduled for mid-March in Bloomfield. It will be held March 21st, 9am to noon, at the Knox County Fairgrounds. The early bird deadline to register for the Update training is March 11th.
The time has come to provide an update for all Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports Instructors who received their training in 2020. Over time there have been curriculum revisions and changes in the Nebraska 4-H policies.
This Update Session is for adult or apprentice 4-H volunteer instructors who have previously attended a 4-H instructor training workshop in 2020. This is an update for existing instructors, NOT a training for new instructors. You MUST be a currently enrolled Nebraska 4-H Shooting Sports volunteer leader in your county to attend.
A Shotgun, Pistol, Rifle, Coordinator, or Archery discipline update will be offered during the morning session. Registration is at 8:30am and the program starts at 9am. Lunch is provided at noon.
There is a minimum number of participants needed to offer these discipline sessions. Participants will learn under expert instruction from members of the Nebraska State 4-H Shooting Sports Training Team.
Registration fees must be paid by March 16th. Early bird registration by March 11th is $45 for the session. Late registration fee, after March 11th, is $65. Fee includes program materials and lunch for the Update session. It does not include lodging.
