Now is the perfect time to help youth discover ways to learn about space exploration. This month’s Spark Start highlights July activities on CLOVER by 4-H that focus on life in space as an astronaut.
Through hands-on learning about growing food in outer space, operating lunar terrain vehicle, and experiencing a day in the life of astronaut, youth will join astronaut Isabella Hernandez on this journey. These engaging activities help young people to shoot for the stars, sparking curiosity and open their minds to the many possibilities of careers in outer space.
The featured activities are easy to use in homes, classrooms, clubs, and afterschool programs – making it simple to spark curiosity and explore the galaxies with an astronaut.
