NEBRASKA TAKES AN EARLY LEAD!
Nebraska has taken an early lead in the National 4-H Raise Your Hand campaign. Nebraska is in first place with 1,872 hands raised, or 27.49% participation rate. As a reminder, this year, winning states will be determined by the participation rate (each state’s percentage of total hands raised), which are weighted based on the number of hands raised and state population. Again this year, the top three winning states will receive $20K, $10K, and $5K.
RAISE YOUR HAND TO SUPPORT 4-H DISASTER RECOVERY IN NEBRASKA!
Nebraska needs a big win now more than ever. That’s why we’re excited to announce that 100% of any winnings that Nebraska 4-H earns from this year’s Raise Your Hand campaign will be used to support 4-H flood and disaster recovery efforts here in our state! Winnings will be put towards the new 4-H’ers Helping 4-H’ers program. This program is designed to help 4-H’ers following a major disaster, such as flood, tornado, loss of home due to fire, or serious illness.

We’re off to a great start, but we’re not done yet. We still have 5 more weeks left in the campaign! Here’s how you can help:
- Reshare, like, and comment on Nebraska 4-H’s RYH social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
- Post your own RYH calls to action from your personal and/or county social media accounts.
- Place a RYH graphic in your county newsletters.
- Add a RYH graphic to your county website.
- Add a link to 4-H.org/Raise-Your-Hand to your email signature line (see example below).
- And, of course, if you haven’t done so already Raise Your Hand for Nebraska 4-H!
