The Nebraska Legal Diversity Summit is a regional event held each fall in Omaha. The Summit brings together pre-law students, law students and Nebraska's legal community for a unique day of education, networking and professional development. The 2020 Diversity Summit will be virtual!
Events for Those Interested in Law School (Pre-Law)
• 9:00 to 9:50 a.m. Preparing for and Applying to Law School: Hear firsthand from Law School Admissions Staff (Creighton University School of Law and University of Nebraska College of Law) about the law school application and financial aid process and what you can do to prepare for both law school and the application process. Also learn more about the LSAT exam and what you can do to prepare.
• 10:00 to 10:50 a.m. Writing a Personal Statement: Receive guidance from Law School Faculty on writing the personal statement for your law school application.
• 11:00 to 11:50 a.m. Law Student Panel Discussion: A panel of current law students will discuss their law school experience and facilitate a question and answer session for the audience.
