Whether you're a sophomore beginning to think about future internships or a senior preparing for graduation in December,
all students are encouraged to attend UNL's fall Career Fair. You'll gain experience talking about yourself with potential employers and make connections in your field.

There are three steps you must take in order to participate in the virtual fair:

1) Activate your Handshake profile, available at my.unl.edu. The entire fair takes place on the Handshake platform, and your profile is how employers will learn more about you.

2) Register for the career fair. If you plan to attend more than one day of the fair, you need to register for each day. If you do not register for the fair, you will not be able to access it.

3) Sign up for sessions with employers. If you don't sign up for sessions ahead of time, you will not be able to talk to any employers.

You'll have the opportunity to participate in individual and group sessions.

Individual Sessions: This is an opportunity to chat directly with a recruiter or employee ambassador about jobs and internships for 10 minutes. Recruiters that want to meet you will be able to invite you to attend virtual sessions with them. Meet with employers via video, audio, or chat features.

Group Sessions: During these sessions you’ll join other students to meet recruiters and other employees at the organization. You’ll learn about job and internship opportunities, company culture, and more. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask your own questions. Group sessions are 30-minute long and a maximum of 50 students can register.
