New Opportunity: Peer Mentoring in Communication Studies

Do you love public speaking? Do you want to continue to grow your skills while learning how to help others? Peer Mentoring in Communication Studies will teach you how to mentor peers in public speaking competence. You have the opportunity to become a peer mentor in the Communication Center (formerly known as the Speech Lab). Students who successfully complete the course in Spring 2022 will be considered for an internship as peer mentors in Fall 2022 in the Communication Center.

Students should be sophomore standing or higher, planning to be on campus in Fall 2022, and be a declared Communication Studies major of minor. The application link to apply for COMM 392-Peer Mentor Class is HERE. Email Dr. Kathy Castle, kcastle4@unl.edu with questions about the course.
