Rural Fellows Program
• Rural Fellows is a unique program designed to connect college students to rural Nebraska communities. Student pairs move into the rural community, for a 10-week period during the summer, to complete community-identified projects. Past projects have ranged from economic development, workforce development, tourism, community planning, education, mental health, and much more. We are excited that you are interested in participating as a host community during the summer of 2022. Please complete the following application to help us know about your interested projects and potential students.

Project Horseshoe Farm
• Project Horseshoe Farm offers Community Health Fellowship programs in Alabama and California. Alumni consistently express how transformative their Fellowship experience has been, and Fellows go to some of the top medical schools, graduate programs, and nonprofit organizations across the U.S.
• This upcoming year, HSF is offering our traditional Gap-Year Fellowship, which will begin June of 2022 and finish July of 2023 at the Greensboro, Marion, and Pomona sites. For applicants who are available and interested, we are also offering a 6-month Fellowship opportunity in Greensboro from January through July of 2022. It will be shorter, but similar in experience to the full year Fellowship.

Remote Paid Research Internship with the Alliance for Securing Democracy
The Alliance for Securing Democracy is seeking spring interns to assist with research on autocratic actors’ attempts to undermine democracies. Interns will be responsible for tracking and compiling research on developments in this area, including real-time events and policy debates in Europe and the United States.
• All internships will be on a remote, work-from-home basis.
• Internships are paid through a $500/month stipend. Preferred starting date of January 10, 2022.

Amasia Remote Paid Fellowship
Amasia offers a paid remote fellowship program for undergraduates. During the fall and spring semesters, the Fellowship is part-time; over the summer, it is full-time for all or half of the summer. Fellows work with managing partners on topics related to venture capital, sustainability, and climate change. The program requires strong writing and research skills. Past projects include looking at moral hazards and returns in venture capital, investment in cleantech, sustainable food production, and the impact of behavioral change on climate, and corporate climate.

Future Leaders in Public Service Paid Internship Program
The Partnership for Public Service recently launched the Future Leaders in Public Service Internship Program to recruit young talent to join the federal workforce in support of two agencies. The program places students with critically needed skills into paid internships and aims to develop a diverse pool of young  talent for these agencies. Selected participants receive a 10-12 week summer internship with a federal agency, $4,000 per student to cover stipend and other expenses, and professional development sessions throughout the summer.
• Candidates must be US citizens at the time of application submission, currently enrolled at an accredited educational institution at least second-year students/sophomores and above, able to demonstrate “superior academic achievement,” and have a GPA above 3.0.
