Calling all Communication Studies upperclassmen!
Communication Studies Majors with junior or senior standing are invited to apply for the inaugural Bill and Kathi Seiler Scholarship! Students meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply:
- Junior or senior class standing, graduating in December 2023 or later.
- Demonstrated high achievement within the Department of Communication Studies, College of Arts and Sciences, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.25 of above. - Pursuing a major in Communication Studies.
- Demonstrated involvement in activities within the Department of Communication Studies, College of Arts and Sciences, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, or other extracurriculars.
- Demonstrated leadership potential.
**Preference will be given to First Generation Students (any student whose parent(s) or legal guardian(s) did not receive a degree from a four-year institution). Interested students should submit the following to the Department of Communication Studies' Chair Person, Dr. Jody Koenig Kellas, at jkellas2@unl.edu by May 6, 2022: - Resume. - Letter of application addressing how your experience matches award criteria through your studies in the College of Arts and Sciences and at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and other extracurriculars. - Unofficial transcript.
