The Department of Communication Studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln is delighted to congratulate Dr. Jody Koenig Kellas, Willa Cather Professor, who will receive the National Communication Association’s Bernard J. Brommel Award for outstanding scholarship or distinguished service in family communication. This added to Dr. Casey Kelley’s NCA Franklyn S. Haiman Award for Distinguished Scholarship in Freedom of Expression reflects the distinction of these two outstanding scholars and the excellence of the Department of communication Studies.
Dr. Kellas will receive the Brommel Award at the National Communication Association’s annual meeting in New Orleans in November 2022. Congratulations Dr. Jody Koenig Kellas!
