The Intern Foundry Program

The Intern Foundry Program, or IF, is partnering with Lincoln and other statewide organizations to offer an assortment of internships supporting local purpose-driven organizations. These internships vary widely, from event coordination and marketing, all the way to assisting with the research and development of a chapter in a biography about the city of Lincoln. The Intern Foundry program is a fifteen week program in which students are asked to commit 8 hours/week working for a local nonprofit organization, being paid $15/hour. Interns will be enrolled in a 1-credit hour project management course to support them during this internship. Students will also enroll in UHON 99H, allowing students to earn Honors credit while completing their internship experience or reflect on their accomplishments. Students must maintain an Honors eligible GPA, but DO NOT have to be a part of the Honors program.

Students should contact Matt@thefoundry.co or Drew@thefoundry.co with any questions they have about this opportunity.

Applications are now open and will close on October 6. Click here for more information, apply here.
