The Department of Communication Studies and the Center for Communication Excellence are excited to share a new workshop series. This upcoming workshop is a collaborative experience for Communication Studies Students who are neurodivergent to learn public speaking skills specifically designed for them in mind. Students will learn key tips and tricks for public speaking, how to integrate tips into their presentations, practice these skills, and have a safe space to share their perspective on navigating oral communication as a neurodiverse person. Dr. Sam Gillespie-Hoffman, a neurodiverse person herself, will lead this workshop along with CCE coaches, to offer expert advice and guidance on how to create an empowering Tool Kit for all facets in life. We will also have fun activities and refreshments to make for an overall lively and enjoyable experience. For information email Dr. G with any questions or concerns.
