The Department of Communication Studies and the Communication Studies Undergraduate Advisory Board are thrilled to be hosting an alumni panel and networking event March 26 from 6-8pm. This virtual event, hosted via Zoom, will feature five alumni from a wide range of career fields: Mike Franken, Judicial Law Clerk with the Nebraska Court of Appeals, Mikki Minton, Associate Territory Manager with Teleflex, Kevin Thor, Director of Global Project Development with Operation Smile International, Emily Schlichting Demres, Engagement Manager with McKinsey and Company, Angela Hauserman, Hartley CLC Program Director with Cedars Kids, and Connor McDonald, VP of Business Development-Institutional at Orion Financial Services. Each alumnus will share their career journey and spend time in conversation with smaller groups of students in break out rooms. We encourage all Communication Studies majors and minors to attend and we welcome all students who would like to learn more about the wide range of careers you can pursue with a degree in Communication Studies!
