How did you find Communication Studies?
I am on the speech and debate team and love studying rhetoric. Communication affects every area of life, and considering my varied interests of study, it was the perfect way to bring it all together.

What do you like most about the Communication Studies major?
I love getting a deeper understanding of the things I experience on a daily basis.

What is your favorite class?
I enjoyed my Rhetoric and Civic Life class because it offered a lot of practical applications for the information I have learned in every other comm class I've taken.

Tell us about some of the cool experiences you've had throughout your time here.
I have interned at the American Civil Liberties Union and the Nebraska Democratic Party. I have also written for the Daily Nebraskan and engaged in animal rights activism. The best thing I have done is competed on both sides of the Speech and Debate Team. It is an amazing community and a wonderful opportunity to use and hone my skills learned in my classes.

What are your post-graduation plans?
I plan to attend law school and practice for some time before entering the world of politics professionally.
