Internship Opportunity in Japan Spring 2019

Matsudo, Japan
Matsudo, Japan

I am writing to you today with an incredible opportunity to live and work in Japan this spring semester. Every fall and spring semester our colleagues in Global Studies send 2 students to Matsudo, Japan to serve as English language assistants in a middle school classroom. In exchange for their service interns will receive free lodging, flight, calligraphy and other Japanese traditions courses, and a small stipend to travel Japan. During the program students register for 12 credits, 6 credits of GLST 395: Global Internship, and 2 courses of their choosing that go towards their major or minor requirements in any field. This is an incredible opportunity to live and work in Japan gaining useful professional experience. All the students who have participated in the program have simply loved their experience.
