Water for Food Global Conference will focus on public-private partnerships
Registration is open for the 2016 Water for Food Global Conference organized by the Water for Food Institute at the University of Nebraska April 24 to 26 at Nebraska Innovation Campus in Lincoln. This year's event will focus on public-private partnerships to achieve water and food security.

New Spring Cooking Classes Offered in the Wellness Kitchen on East Campus
Campus Rec will offer several new cooking classes throughout the Spring semester at the Wellness Kitchen on East Campus, including Indian Cooking, and Cooking for Two. Each class includes a cooking coach, food and all materials needed. Sign up early online at http://go.unl.edu/kitchen.
Monthly Lunch & Learns Focus on Personal Health, Wellness
Campus Recreation will offer monthly Lunch & Learns in the Wellness Kitchen in the Rec & Wellness Center on East Campus. Lunch & Learns will provide information on healthy living and include lunch for only $10. Lunch & Learns are open to UNL Students, Campus Rec Members, and the General Public.

The UNL Wellness Initiative offers FREE wellness sessions on City & East Campus as part of its Spring into Wellness Series. Lunch sessions will focus on personal health & wellness. Investigating City Network outage, Aug 11
On August 11 at approximately 8:15pm, network monitors indicated a network distribution hub failure, resulting in a loss of connectivity to numerous buildings on city campus.** ITS networking personnel were called on site and determined the scope of the outage pointed to a distribution point
New webmail login, Active Directory upgrade, Aug 17
Webmail users will see a new login screen after an Active Directory upgrade, August 17. Following the upgrade, mobile users will need to re-authenticate. The new Active Directory environment will improve Office 365 performance as well as increase security.
