The Lincoln Fire & Rescue Team is looking for volunteers to hand out fliers at the Nebraska/Wisconsin game on Oct. 10 to promote their new app, PulsePoint. The app will inform citizen bystanders of cardiac arrest in public areas so bystander CPR can be performed until medical professionals arrive.

Active Directory fix for Shared Calendars

Microsoft has issued a temporary fix for an issue impacting shared calendars via Outlook 2013 for Windows. The fix will restore access to shared calendars with owner/editor permissions that are currently inaccessible via the Windows Outlook client. This issue was reported via an UNLTECHINFO email

A new webmail login screen replaces the browser drop-down login

New webmail login, Active Directory upgrade, Aug 17

Webmail users will see a new login screen after an Active Directory upgrade, August 17. Following the upgrade, mobile users will need to re-authenticate. The new Active Directory environment will improve Office 365 performance as well as increase security.
