Next semester the UNL Dance program will be offering DANC 398-002 Special Topics in Dance: Hip Hop. Through performance, students will learn the fundamentals of Hip-Hop and House dance, including history, movement vocabulary, rhythm, and musicality.
This class is open to all students—no experience needed.
Course will meet via web conferencing Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-4:45 p.m., with asynchronous accommodations available.
It will be taught by visiting instructor Vivian Kim, who is a Colorado-based choreographer, dancer, and educator with training in vernacular street dance styles. She is a UNL alumna and holds an MFA from CU-Boulder.
