Host a Student Affairs Master's Intern

If you would like to provide some professional development and mentoring for a student, please share any available information about (1) your specific needs and/or (2) general priorities or services of your unit. Internships often benefit the unit and the student in multiple ways! GA positions are needed, too.

You can offer an opportunity to work with a specific project or for the student to express their interests and co-create an internship focus. The main requirement for internships is that they are 135-150 hours, which is about 10 hours a week during a 15 week semester. There is flexibility that the timing can span more than one academic term. Students are looking for paid internships in the summer and unpaid internships during the fall and spring. To express interest in having an intern or GA from the EDAD master’s program or to ask questions, contact Stephanie Bondi sbondi2@unl.edu and provide a 1-2 paragraph description.
