Dr. Charles Riedesel Award Nominations

Nominations are now being accepted for the Dr. Charles Riedesel Outstanding Academic Advising Award. This award is given each year to recognize exceptional advising services provided by an outstanding faculty or staff member at UNL. The award is named for Dr. Charles Riedesel, former advisor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University, who devoted much of his time to recruiting and advising computer science and engineering majors. The time of service for the nominee to be considered should include the past year, but may extend back through the career at UNL.

Nominations must include a letter of nomination, supporting letters, a vita/resume, and current job description (or statement from supervisor) showing undergraduate advising duties. Details on how to compile and submit a nomination can be found on the award website, including the link to the nomination form.

Nominations are due on February 1st, 2024. If you have questions about submitting a nomination, please contact CJ Venable in University Academic Advising at cj.venable@unl.edu.
