Whether you are planning to attend a protest, organize a demonstration, or simply want to better understand where free speech meets the law, this Lunch & Learn offers practical guidance you can use.
Student Legal Services will cover key legal considerations related to protests and public actions, including your rights, your responsibilities, and ways to protect yourself before, during and after an event. The session will include real-life scenarios, common misconceptions and clear explanations designed to help you make informed decisions.
Lunch will be served. Space is limited to 25 participants to allow for meaningful discussion and questions. Registration will close once capacity is reached.
