School’s nearly out for summer, but the world of law school admissions never slows down! We have started to recruit our class for Fall of 2027. If you have students who plan to be a part of it, now is the time for them to take the LSAT. Students should aim to take their first LSAT this summer, and plan for a potential second attempt in early fall. Recent years have taught us that it is essential for students to apply during the fall, rather than waiting until January or February. This increases their chances of both admission and scholarship consideration.

We have several events scheduled over the summer geared towards helping students understand the application process more fully and explore their options at Nebraska Law. Students wanting more personalized assistance can also sign up for an individual visit. Registration for all events can be found on our Visits Page.

Application Chat (In-Person)
Join us for an in-depth look at the application process, including cost, parts of the application, and timeline. Dr. Melissa McCoy, Assistant Dean of Admissions and Enrollment Operations, will lead a personal statement workshop, to help students find their attention-getting opener.

Information Session (Virtual)
Nebraska Law is hosting several Information Sessions this summer. These sessions give aspiring law students an overview of the programs, curriculum, and community available at Nebraska Law.

All prospective law students are welcome! We hope to see your students this summer.
