Islam Awareness Week is a three-day event full of talks, exhibitions, treats, giving out hijabs, and many more things that will give students/staff on UNL campus a real insight to Islam, and what being a Muslim entails. Events include:
February 23rd, 2016 at 4pm-6pm, there will be a Lecture followed by a panel discussion with Muslims. Place: Regency A, City Union
February 24rd, 2016 between 1pm-3pm, It’s Hijab? Try it on! Women in Islam, clearing up the stereotypes on wearing the hijab. Place: Red Wall (by Subway), City Union
February 25th, 2015 between 12:30pm-3:00pm, we will have booths about Islamic Art, Architecture and More. Place: Ubuntu Room/202, City Union
