Advisors are in a key position to help connect students with rewarding fellowship opportunities that provide funding for valuable educational experiences. Listed below are a number of fantastic nationally competitive opportunities for students (minimum GPA 3.7, primarily US citizens) to participate in this summer. Most of them are for STEM students and are research-related; both NSF and SUROP have a focus on underrepresented students. The UK Fulbright Summer Institute is an opportunity for younger students (freshman and sophomores in any field) to have a fully-paid summer experience in the UK. Feel free to send this to students who might be interested. Questions? Contact Laura Damuth, Director, National and International Fellowships, ldamuth1@unl.edu.
