Adjunct Professor Lela McNinch has over 25 years of experience in education, security and emergency management. She advises clients on strategic and tactical security challenges and provides assistance to both public and private schools, and institutes of higher education to prepare, mitigate, and recover from threats of terrorism and other hazards natural or man-made; protect lives and critical assets. She served as Director of School Safety for the Nebraska Department of Education from 2007-2011 and is currently President of Global Strategic Security Solutions. She is considered a leading expert and training specialist on emergency management preparedness for schools and Higher Education.
