PRE-LAW ORIENTATION
Wednesday, Sept. 18th, 4-5pm, 221 Love Library South
• This workshop is designed for any student considering applying to law school in the future. Freshmen through seniors will learn what it means to be Pre-Law, how to best plan your undergraduate education for law school success, and what makes a competitive applicant. Students will break into groups and discuss specific timelines for undergraduate preparation for law school admission.

SOCIAL JUSTICE, IMMIGRATION & THE LAW (Hosted by Nebraska Law)
Friday, Sept. 20th, 10am-2pm, Nebraska Law School
• Learn about the current state of immigration law and the things that lawyers and Nebraska Law students do to help people facing immigration issues.
• Take a tour of Nebraska Law’s Immigration Clinic and learn more about the path to becoming a lawyers
• Meet law students and hear about the kinds of things they learn and do

GILMAN WRITING WORKSHOP (Come Put the Finishing Touches on Your Gilman Scholarship Application)
Sunday, Sept. 22nd, 1-3pm, Platte River Room North (formerly Colonial B), NE Union
• Come with your laptop and finish up your Gilman application. Three writing mentors will be there to help you brainstorm about content, using the correct grammar, and finalizing your essays. Come when you like; leave when you like.
