The scholarship application closes February 1st. If you cannot attend one of the labs, be sure to schedule an appointment with Meagan or Kristen on MyPLAN or by calling the Academic and Career Advising Center at 402-472-4190.

• With close to 100 different student organizations in attendance, Club Fair is a great way to find new involvement opportunities. Joining a Recognized Student Organization (RSO) is a wonderful way to meet new people, find others that share your passion, or find opportunities that enhance your classroom experiences.

• Maximize your college experience! Launch your career! The Student Alumni Association hosts its annual Backpacks to Briefcases event where you can explore your career questions and network with industry professionals and alumni.
• Come and learn how to maximize your college experience and take the next step to your career goals!
• Free and open to all UNL students. Wear business-casual attire. Choose five different sessions, including headshots and resume reviews.

CivicSpark Fellow Priority Application Open for 20-21 Service Year:
Are you passionate about tackling the biggest environmental and social equity challenges facing communities today while launching your social purpose career? If so, CivicSpark, a Governor’s Initiative AmeriCorps program, is right for you! CivicSpark is dedicated to building capacity for local governments to address community resilience issues such as climate, water, housing, and mobility. During the 2020-21 service year, 90 CivicSpark Fellows will support over 100 cities, schools, and other public agencies to implement local sustainability projects on topics including sustainable transportation, energy efficiency, climate action planning, water conservation, drought response, equity and affordable housing. Fellows gain exceptional career experience, training to become future leaders in California’s response to community resilience issues.

CivicSpark is looking for upcoming and recent college graduates who want to gain real-world experience, start their career in the sustainability and resilience fields, and make a lasting impact!
