The Nebraska Archaeological Society is offering two scholarships to college students who are majoring in archaeology; the Leroy Follis Memorial Scholarship and the Dana Deger Memorial Scholarship. These scholarships honor people who were active in the Archaeological Field. The applicants must have a 3.0 grade point average out of 4.0, have completed 12 credit hours in archaeology classes, be an undergraduate or graduate student, have graduated from a Nebraska Hight school or be enrolled in a post-secondary school in Nebraska. The application may be obtained from visiting http://sites.google.com/site/webnas/ . They are due by July 15, 2020. The Nebraska Archaeological Society is a non-profit organization and has no paid officers or employees. We endeavor to develop a better understanding among students and collectors of archaeological material, professionals, as well as museums and institutions of learning.
