Soft Lighting is launching its first photographic magazine. This call is seeking entries from: persons of color, photographers with disabilities, body positive individuals, women, queer individuals, trans/non-binary folx, & rural/non-costal imagemakers.
JURORS: Lilac Perez, Casting Director, Refinery29, Nicholas Bloise, Visuals Editor, OUT Magazine, & Zora Murff (UNL alumnus), Assistant Professor at University of Arkansas and Aperture Portfolio Prize Runner Up.

Images must be photographic in nature, any subject matter, JPGS, labeled as follows LastName_FirstName01.jpg
300DPI. Accompanying Image List, Bio that includes your pronouns and Instagram handle.
$5.00 entry fee for 10 images, $10.00 for 20 images, etc -paypal fee to INFO@SOFTLIGHTNINGSTUDIO.COM (If you are experiencing financial hardship please email us about assistance.)
How are these funds used? SL is a young passion project so these funds are used to support the operating costs such as yearly website fees, domain names, and funding publications.
Each submitting photographer will be able to purchase a discounted copy of the magazine.
10% of funds from sales of the magazine will go to Mozaic Ohio, a wellness program and community space for transgender, gender non-conforming, and non-binary people of color ages 13-29.
