Are you concerned about climate change and want to do more creative projects to address it? What “big questions” about environmental issues remain unsettled for you in your work? And what projects could you develop at UNL to nurture your career and contribute to a sustainable future?
The School of Art, Art History & Design and the Carson Center for Emerging Media Arts will host a focus group via Zoom on Wednesday, December 9 at 3:00 pm CST. This focus group is designed for artists, designers, art historians, and emerging media artists to discuss interdisciplinary research methods in critical environmental studies. We are seeking eight students to take part in this one-hour Zoom event, in exchange for a stipend of $50.
Please apply if you are:
- An undergraduate student in the School of Art, Art History & Design or the Center for Emerging Media Arts
- Interested in dialogue with students and professors about sustainability
- Curious about research
- Willing to talk about your existing research experience (it’s okay if you don’t have much yet)

The first eight students will be accepted. After the focus group fills up, we’ll offer opportunities to get onto a waiting list.
