The MEDICI Gallery Reservation Request Form and Calendar for SPRING 2021 are now live!

The MEDICI Gallery, a student-centric laboratory for art exhibitions or experimentation purposes located in Richards Hall on City Campus, is now booking for the Spring 2021 semester.

Current School of Art, Art History & Design graduate and undergraduate students, faculty, staff, and alumni may begin reviewing the calendar for availability and submitting reservation requests. Slots run as 7-day sessions (Sunday to Saturday) from January 31, 2021 through April 24, 2021.

Reservation requests are reviewed and approved by the Medici Gallery Student Manager (MGSM) in the order they arrive and according to the following list of priority: Eisentrager-Howard Gallery overflow and MFA review needs, UNL scholarship or grant requirements, general UNL graduate or undergraduate exhibition display, UNL instructors or staff applying to display student coursework, UNL alumnus exhibition (not to be confused with alumni shows that occur in the summer), and any experimental usage. There is no specific deadline to apply, but the sooner, the better; these slots fill up and there is always a waiting list.

Reservation requests can ONLY be placed via the convenient online form.

Visit the MEDICI Gallery webpage to access a link to this form as well as other important MEDICI Gallery documents (the Reservation Calendar, Usage Contract, Supply Cabinet + Repair and Clean-up Guides, and Floor Plan) and see images of ways the space has been utilized in the recent past.

All questions should be communicated to the MEDICI Gallery Student Worker's email medicigallery@unl.edu.

(If you are only looking to document work, utilize other facilities provided in the attic of Richards Hall or install an exhibit in the MEDICI space and then document it while on display.)
