WATC 257, Beginning Watercolor
M-F 9:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Instructor: Byron Anway

Beginning watercolor is an introduction to the materials and techniques of the medium balanced between a historical and contemporary context. Subjects include still-life, the figure, and landscape with a focus on the observation of color, form, and space.

First 5-week session: June 6 - July 8
CERM132/232 Beginning Ceramics: Handbuilding
M-F 1:00 p.m.- 4:25 p.m.

Introduction to the materials, techniques, processes, and aesthetics involved in making ceramic art focusing on handbuilding techniques and low temperature materials.

ARTP383 Art at Cedar Point (JUNE 12-21, 2022)
Instructor: Stacy Asher

Field school art course at UNL Cedar Point Biological Station (CPBS). Approaches for understanding visual arts with broad perceptions of the natural world, environmental awareness, rural communities and relationships between art and science through art media with contemporary meaning and applications. Beginning and intermediate instruction in the use of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Develop skills to become more proficient with the applications and gain a better understanding of how they can be used together to make a cohesive layout.
