Dear Students:

Welcome to the Fall 2022 Semester!

I am delighted to welcome you to the School of Art, Art History & Design and thrilled by the return of our vibrant campus life as we celebrate the start of a new academic year together! Whether you are beginning or continuing your educational journey with us, we look forward to learning, exploring, and growing together.
The past two years of the pandemic have taught us so many new ways to connect with one another and to take care of each other. We, in the School of Art, Art History and Design, are here to support you. We have appreciated your ability to adapt to an ever-evolving situation, and to find opportunities for growth amid the many changes.
Each year we strive for excellence in all that we do and true excellence requires that everyone be able to work and learn in an atmosphere of respect, dignity, and acceptance.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us or pop into the art office. You are the reason we are here and I cannot wait to see what we are able to experience and accomplish together this new academic year.

I am pleased to also announce we have new personnel joining our school this academic year:

Sophie Isaak, is our new professor in Printmaking
Emma Gregoline, is our new professor in Graphic Design
Hayley Shoemaker, is our new face in the front desk.

We are beyond thankful to have them joining our community! Please introduce yourself and give them a warm welcome!

Have a great year ahead, stay safe and take care of one another

All my best as always,

Francisco
