Archived Story: This article is part of our newsletter archives. It has been preserved for reference, but the information may no longer be current.

Summer 2017 will the the last time that Ceramics 131/231 will cover both hand-building and wheel throwing techniques. Beginning in the fall of 2017, CERM131/231 will focus exclusively on wheel-throwing and CERM132/232 will focus solely on hand-building. If you want to cover both throwing and hand building in a single beginning ceramics course, then summer 2017 will be your last chance to do so.

Beginning in the fall, both CERM131/231 and CERM132/232 will be offered every fall and spring semester, and either will satisfy the current CERM231 requirement in the BFA- Core Distribution.

The summer 2017 schedule of classes will be available to view in MyRed on February 20. Open registration for summer 2017 begins on March 6.
