In 2017, Nebraska will be commemorating its 150th anniversary of statehood. In honor of this statewide celebration, Bone Creek Museum of Agrarian Art, a museum in David City, Nebraska, dedicated to art celebrating the land, is planning a juried exhibition titled 150 Artists, 150 Artworks: 150 Years of Nebraska in Miniature. Our ambitious goal is to display and sell small pieces of art by 150 artists living throughout Nebraska. Because many artists and organizations are just learning of this exhibition opportunity after our original February 1 deadline, we have decided to extend our deadline to February 25, 2017.
In an effort to promote the success and talent of artists of all ages, our Exhibition Committee is opening the exhibition application to both professional and amateur artists, including a special category for university and high school students. Please view the exhibition information and encourage your students and fellow faculty members to apply.
