• Lynn-Steven Johanson's (MFA Theatre 1983) novel, "Rose's Thorn," was recognized in the mystery category as a distinguished favorite in the Independent Press Awards. The competition is judged by experts from different aspects of the book industry, including publishers, writers, editors, book cover designers and professional copywriters. Selected award winner and the two distinguished favorites are based on overall excellence.
